Job Description

IT Recruiter – APAC Region

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven IT Recruiter specializing in end-to-end technology hiring across software development, infrastructure, ERP, cloud, and support functions within the APAC region.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing, screening, technical validation, stakeholder management, and market intelligence, with the ability to identify and assess high-quality technical talent across diverse technology stacks and experience levels.

In addition to managing the complete recruitment lifecycle, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong capability in validating technical skill sets through structured screening, technical discussions, practical assessments, and close collaboration with hiring managers and technical SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including requirement intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, offer release, and onboarding coordination for software and IT roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand hiring needs, timelines, role expectations, and success profiles.
  • Drive recruitment activities while ensuring adherence to defined SLAs and hiring targets.

Technical Skill Validation

  • Conduct structured technical screening using calibrated question banks, evaluation scorecards, and competency frameworks.
  • Coordinate and review coding assessments, technical assignments, live problem-solving sessions, portfolio reviews, and GitHub evaluations where applicable.
  • Partner closely with technical SMEs, engineering managers, and delivery teams to align on role-specific competencies, technical expectations, and hiring criteria.
  • Validate candidate project depth, architecture exposure, performance optimization experience, testing methodologies, deployment practices, and real-world technical expertise beyond surface-level keyword matching.
  • Assess candidate communication skills, customer interaction capabilities, troubleshooting approach, and overall technical fit for customer-facing and internal technical roles.

Sourcing Excellence

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, employee referrals, talent communities, networking groups, and social sourcing channels.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing strategies including Boolean search, X-ray search, market mapping, competitor mapping, and passive candidate engagement.
  • Develop proactive pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill technology positions across multiple geographies within APAC.

Stakeholder Management

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers and clients to align on technical requirements, candidate expectations, interview processes, and hiring timelines.
  • Provide regular recruitment updates, market feedback, and hiring progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and recruitment delivery while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.

Candidate Experience

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring timely communication, interview preparation, feedback sharing, and process transparency throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Guide candidates through various stages of the interview process and act as the primary point of contact during hiring.

Data, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the ATS and recruitment systems.
  • Prepare and publish weekly recruitment dashboards covering sourcing metrics, submissions, interviews, offers, joins, closures, and pipeline health.
  • Ensure compliance with internal recruitment processes, labor regulations, data privacy requirements, and company policies.

Market Intelligence

  • Provide market insights related to compensation trends, talent availability, emerging technologies, competitor hiring practices, and regional hiring trends.
  • Support hiring managers with salary benchmarking and talent market intelligence to improve hiring effectiveness.

Employer Branding & Talent Engagement

  • Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company's market presence and attractiveness to technical talent.
  • Participate in recruitment drives, virtual hiring events, referral campaigns, campus hiring initiatives, and networking events where required.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of hands-on IT recruitment experience with a strong focus on software and technology hiring.
  • Proven experience hiring across technologies including Network Engineering, IT Support, Service Desk, Java, .NET, Python, DevOps, Cloud Technologies, SAP, Oracle, QA Testing, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and related technology domains.
  • Strong capability to technically assess candidates by evaluating technical competencies, project experience, architecture exposure, troubleshooting capabilities, problem-solving skills, and overall role suitability.
  • Experience hiring across various levels including L1, L2, L3 Engineers, Senior Engineers, Leads, Architects, Managers, and Specialist positions.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing automation tools, and recruitment technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Boolean search, X-ray sourcing, talent mapping, competitor mapping, and passive candidate engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed of delivery.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience working with recruitment metrics, dashboards, and hiring KPIs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, SLA-driven, and target-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting hiring across multiple APAC countries and geographies.
  • Exposure to international recruitment and global hiring processes.
  • Experience working with MSP, RPO, staffing, or IT services environments.
  • Familiarity with technical interview methodologies and competency-based hiring frameworks.
  • Knowledge of regional labor market trends, salary benchmarking, and hiring best practices.
