We're looking for a Technical Recruiter who understands the pace, ambiguity, and expectations of startup hiring. Someone who can go beyond JD matching and identify candidates who fit the stage, mindset, and problem statement of a company.
What You'll Own
- Drive end-to-end hiring for tech roles across startups (Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, Data, DevOps, etc.)
- Work closely with founders and hiring managers to understand real hiring needs—not just job descriptions
- Build strong candidate pipelines through sourcing, networking, and market mapping
- Evaluate candidates on both technical fit and startup alignment (ownership, adaptability, mindset)
- Manage the entire candidate lifecycle - from first conversation to offer closure
- Ensure strong candidate experience, especially in fast-moving hiring environments
- Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation, and hiring trends
- Maintain structured tracking of pipelines, conversions, and hiring metrics
What Makes You a Fit
- 2–5 years of experience in technical recruitment (startup or agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of tech roles, stacks, and hiring expectations
- Ability to assess candidates beyond resumes - skills, intent, and long-term fit
- Proven ability to close positions in fast-paced environments
- Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn, referrals, networking, direct outreach)
- High ownership - roles don't stay open without a clear plan
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
