Location: Bangalore, India (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: US Shift (EST/CST) — night shift, India time Experience: 2–3 years in US IT staffing/recruiting

About Nexylum

Nexylum Global Technologies is an IT staffing and recruitment firm with operations across the USA, Canada, and India. We place technology talent into contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time roles with US-based clients and prime vendors. We're looking for a recruiter who already knows how the US IT staffing engine works — not someone we have to teach the basics to.

Role Summary

You'll own full-cycle recruiting for US requirements: sourcing, screening, submitting, negotiating rates, and closing candidates across all tax terms and work authorizations. This is a hands-on delivery role, not a coordination role. Success is measured in quality submissions and placements, not activity.

What You'll Do
  • Run full-cycle recruiting on US IT requirements: from intake to offer to onboarding.
  • Source candidates through Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals, and Boolean search.
  • Screen candidates on technical fit, work authorization, rate expectations, relocation, and availability.
  • Handle all engagement types confidently — W2, 1099, and C2C — and explain the differences to candidates.
  • Work with prime vendors and implementation partners for C2C submissions; manage layers and rate splits.
  • Negotiate pay rates and bill rates while protecting margins.
  • Format and submit clean, requirement-matched profiles; follow up through interview and closing.
  • Maintain accurate records in the ATS and keep the pipeline current.
  • Coordinate with the US onsite team on client priorities and feedback.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 2–3 years of US IT recruiting experience (staffing/consulting firm background preferred).
  • Solid working knowledge of US tax terms: W2, 1099, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) — you should be able to explain each without hesitation.
  • US work authorization fluency: US Citizen, Green Card, GC-EAD, H1B, H4-EAD, L2-EAD, OPT, CPT, TN, and their transfer/portability implications.
  • Understanding of US payroll basics as they relate to W2 vs. C2C consultants (per-hour vs. salaried, benefits, employer taxes).
  • Familiarity with US geography and time zones for scheduling and relocation conversations.
  • Comfortable working US shift hours and coordinating across US and India teams.
  • Strong sourcing skills including Boolean search across job boards and LinkedIn.
  • Clear written and spoken English; direct, professional candidate communication.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with a specific ATS/VMS (e.g., Ceipal, JobDiva, Fieldglass, Beeline).
  • Existing network of bench consultants or prime vendor contacts.
  • Exposure to compliance basics (right-to-represent, work authorization verification).
  • Track record you can point to — placements closed, time-to-fill, submission-to-interview ratios.
Work Details
