Job Description

We are looking for a driven and experienced US Recruiter to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment for IT and Engineering (Civil/Construction) roles, specifically within the US public sector domain. This role demands excellent sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement skills, with a strong understanding of technical requirements and compliance-driven hiring processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the complete recruitment processfrom understanding job requirements to onboarding candidatesfor IT and Civil/Construction Engineering roles.
  • Sourcing: Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels including job boards (LinkedIn, indeed, Dice, etc.), internal databases, referrals, and social media platforms.
  • Screening & Evaluation: Conduct resume reviews and phone screenings to assess candidates technical and functional skills, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • ATS & Database Management: Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) while building a proactive talent pipeline for recurring roles.
  • Reporting: Share timely updates with internal teams and clients on hiring metrics, candidate pipeline status, and market insights.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current with trends in US public sector hiring, compliance standards, and evolving technologies in the IT and civil engineering space.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred in Civil, CS, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field).
  • 25 years of experience in US recruitment, with a proven track record of working on public sector/government client requirements.
  • Strong Experience in recruitment for IT roles (e.g., Cybersecurity, InfoSec), Non-IT (Admin asst, HR Generalist, GIS) and Civil/Construction Engineering positions is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Boolean search, job portals, social recruiting, and other sourcing tools.
  • Familiarity with hiring processes (RFP, RFI, RFQ, and TO) specific to US federal and state government clients is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
