HCLTech is seeking an open-minded, driven technical recruiter to identify and hire technical talent for our key clients that are across Japan. You will work to understand our clients requirements carefully, and collaborate with sales & delivery teams and use data to draw insights and craft effective hiring strategies to fill in the missing pieces, making our hiring process smarter and more efficient--not just for today, but also for tomorrow.

Role: Sr. Technical recruiter

Work Location: Bengaluru or Noida or Chennai or Pune (Location not a constraint)

Reporting into: Head of Talent acquisition, Japan

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Hiring Manager to define general candidate requirements (prior experience, mandatory skills, education, compensation ranges, etc.)
  • Utilize innovative sourcing methods to attract top talent, including social media, job boards, employee referrals, and networking with specific focus on proactive outreach and recruitment
  • Utilizes data, trends and customer information to gather insights to drive appropriate candidate generation and talent pool strategies
  • Strategically build highly-targeted, quality candidate pipelines for a diverse set of search assignments in a timely manner.
  • Effectively assess candidates for current and expected upcoming hiring needs, taking into consideration organizational strengths/gaps, team dynamics, vision/goals, challenges, and career planning.
  • Accurately maintain, track, and report on recruitment metrics to improve service and delivery to assigned business groups.
  • Ensure recruiting process, interviews, and documentation are in compliance with HCL standards
  • Deliver appropriate communication / message to candidates and applicants when appropriate; help others do the same

Specific responsibilities and expectations of this job include the following:

  • Be an ambassador and effective spokesperson for HCLTech - attract and hire the best talent in the industry
  • Independently drive hiring needs for our engineering units end-to-end, and manage the entire lifecycle of recruitment
  • Develop and plan recruiting strategies around sourcing, branding, candidate experience and management, addressing the challenges of Japan and the global talent market
  • Proactively execute sourcing strategies to engage and nurture the pipeline of passive talents, and take steps to approach people from diverse backgrounds
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires in HCLTech
  • Work with stakeholders to drive new employee engagement and internal/corporate branding

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years experience hiring in an in-house, RPO, or agency recruitment role
  • Demonstrated excellence in various candidate sourcing methodologies (headhunting, job boards, Boolean searches, social media, market mapping)
  • Strong client-facing experience and proven ability to manage senior stakeholder and hiring manager relationships
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility when priorities change and manage competing projects to exceed objectives
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience tracking and managing candidates in an ATS system
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 & above)
