Technical Project Manager (Generic Solution Architect Background)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong Solution Architecture experience who can lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements, technical design, and project execution to ensure successful, high-quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Lead end-to-end project delivery (initiation to closure)
- Define scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests
- Track project progress and report status to stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
2. Solution Architecture
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Design high-level architecture (HLD) and review low-level design (LLD)
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
- Evaluate technology choices and provide recommendations
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability
3. Stakeholder Management
- Act as primary interface between business, technical teams, and leadership
- Conduct requirement workshops and technical discussions
- Present architecture, solution approach, and delivery roadmap
4. Technical Leadership
- Guide development teams on best practices and design decisions
- Conduct technical reviews and quality checkpoints
- Ensure DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment best practices are followed
5. Governance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to project governance and documentation standards
- Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Technical Project Management
- Hands-on experience in Solution Architecture and system design
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Understanding of APIs, Microservices, Databases, and Integration patterns
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Risk management and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering / computer science
- 5 - 8 years of relevant IT experience
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification (Optional)
- Cloud Architect certifications (preferred)
