About the Role
This role is responsible for leading and orchestrating technology delivery for large-scale digital health transformations, with a strong emphasis on engagement with government stakeholders and implementation partners. The role spans end-to-end ownership of delivery across product development and platform implementations, while acting as a key interface between internal engineering teams and governments, public institutions, and ecosystem partners.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who combines strong technical delivery leadership with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, manage senior government stakeholders, and represent the platform in external forums. The role requires comfort working in multi-stakeholder public-sector environments, the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority, and a solid understanding of modern application architectures and public health delivery contexts.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead assigned digital health platform initiatives from inception through delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
Serve as the primary external-facing delivery lead for assigned workstreams, engaging regularly with government departments, public institutions, and implementation partners to provide progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
Own project planning and execution, including development of delivery plans, milestones, resource allocation, and coordinated release schedules across Product,Engineering, Program, Implementation, and DevOps teams.
Act as the single point of accountability for delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans, with clear escalation and decision-making mechanisms.
Drive cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, Solution Engineering, Program, DST, and DevOps teams to manage interdependencies and unblock delivery.
Prepare and deliver clear, structured presentations and written updates for government review forums, steering committees, and partner meetings, translating technical progress into program-relevant insights.
Establish and enforce delivery and engineering processes to ensure predictability, transparency, and alignment with agreed standards.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
610 years of total IT experience, with 4+ years in technical project or program delivery roles
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent technology projects across teams and geographies.
Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, preferably involving government or public sector programs. Engineering experience in public healthcare will be a big plus.
Technical Competency
Hands-on experience of leading teams in web and mobile application development covering below technologies:
Backend & Application Stack: Python / Django, JavaScript / TypeScript
Frontend & UI Technologies: React / TypeScript
RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman
Good understanding of following:
Data & Analytics: PostgreSQL (or equivalent); familiarity with Elasticsearch
DevOps & Deployment: Docker and basic container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Monitoring and logging tools
Architecture & Integration: Modular architectures, Integration with third-party tools and plugins Delivery Practices:
Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and DevOps best practices
Familiarity with
Project & Communication Skills
Hands-on experience with project management tools (open-source preferred); strong Excel skills are a plus.
Strong presentation and communication skills - both written and verbal, with the ability to engage senior leadership and government stakeholders, participate in RFP and architecture discussions
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple teams and consolidate them into actionable plans.
Ability to do effective team management, handle distributed teams
Preferred/Nice to have:
Prior experience in public health or health-tech domains, such as:
EMR / EHR systems, HMIS, Telemedicine
ABDM, FHIR standards
Exposure to government programs, development sector, or consulting engagements.
Experience supporting large scale deploymetns and national rollouts.
