About the Role
We are seeking a tenured Project Manager to lead end-to-end modernization of critical applications for BFSI clients, owning delivery from mobilization through final handover. The role requires trading application exposure, preferably FX,
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans and SLAs, maintaining RAID logs, coordinating resource hiring and mobilization, leading stakeholder governance and executive readouts, managing deadlines and delivery quality, overseeing risk and compliance, and identifying growth opportunities, supported by strong communication and relationship building across client and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- 7+ years of project management experience in technology transformation, with at least 4 years in banking or financial services. Proven delivery of largescale app and data modernization (.NET, SQL Server, cloud migration, reporting), migrating to containerized .NET or Python applications;
- Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, and tools including MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- Deep trading application experience, preferably FX derivatives; engineeringmanagement background preferred.
- DevOps and cloud readiness expertise, including SDLC/DevOps, application architecture, on-prem monetization, cloud enablement, and strong data governance, security, and financial-services compliance.
- Experience with regulatory/compliance-driven environments (e.g., BCBS239, DORA).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive outcomes in a matrixed organization.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in banking or financial services.
