Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and drive the execution of complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Technology Stack Expertise
- Proficiency in Python-based frameworks, particularly Django, to support scalable and efficient server-side applications.
- Knowledge of React with JavaScript/TypeScript for building modern, responsive, and dynamic user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS for deploying and managing cloud-based solutions, including serverless architectures, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL for database design, optimization, and maintenance in high-performance environments.
- Understanding of Power BI for creating insightful dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Foster collaboration and maintain high team morale.
- Resolve conflicts and address team challenges effectively.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Technical Expertise:
- Understand technical requirements and provide guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess feasibility and resolve technical challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in technical projects.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Technical background with a good understanding of software development, infrastructure, or other technical domains.
