The Opportunity
PrivaSapien is seeking a Senior Platform Product Manager to own the foundation our entire Privacy
Engineering and Responsible AI suite is built and deployed on. Because our platform runs inside our
customers environments – on-prem, private cloud, and VPC, including air-gapped – the substrate that
makes it installable, upgradeable, and governable across dozens of heterogeneous deployments is the
product. This role owns that substrate.
This isn't a role for a generalist. We are looking for an architect-turned-product-leader who can debate
packaging and upgrade architecture with platform engineers in the morning, walk a CISO or Chief Privacy
Officer through audit-lineage and isolation guarantees in the afternoon, and hold a 12-month roadmap that
treats backward compatibility and security-review friction as first-class constraints. You will bring deep
platform expertise; we will help you go deep on Privacy Engineering and Responsible AI.
Key Priorities
- Platform & Deployment Leadership (The Foundation)
- Core Platform Services: Own dashboard, UX, identity and access (Auth/IAM, RBAC), secrets
management, tenant isolation, and audit logging as shared services the rest of the suite builds on.
- Extensibility & APIs: Own the SDKs and internal platform API contracts that the application,
privacy, and trusted-agent teams depend on.
- Deployment & Lifecycle: Own packaging (containers, Helm, operators) and install/provisioning
across on-prem, private cloud, and VPC – including air-gapped environments.
- Version & Upgrade Management: Define how dozens of customers running different versions
stay supportable; own upgrade and migration paths, backward-compatibility policy, and release
management across deployed instances.

- Governance & Trust Primitives (Why the Platform Exists)
- Policy & Enforcement: Own the policy engine and enforcement points that the privacy,
Responsible AI, and trusted-agent layers compose on top of.
- Audit, Lineage & Evidence: Own audit trails and data lineage as platform capabilities – the proof
that customers and regulators rely on.
- Security-Review Readiness: Define the controls, documentation, and hardening that shorten
enterprise security and procurement reviews – a direct lever on sales-cycle length.
- Strategic Roadmap & Execution
- Roadmap Ownership: Translate market signals and customer needs into a clear, prioritized 12-
month platform roadmap, balancing new capability against deployment and upgrade friction.
- Delivery: Write high-fidelity PRDs, own the backlog and sprint planning, and partner with
Professional Services to drive down implementation cost and time-to-value.
- Reliability: Partner with Engineering on root-cause analysis for critical issues across deployed
customers, ensuring stability and high availability without sacrificing technical integrity.
- Customer Advocacy & Executive Presence
- Technical Face of the Platform: Present platform architecture and roadmap to customer executives
– CISO, Chief Privacy Officer, Head of AI Governance, and platform/engineering leaders.
- Feedback Loops: Distill enterprise feedback into platform requirements that keep PrivaSapien
ahead of the competition.
Who You Are
- The Deployed-Platform Veteran: 8+ years across engineering and product, with significant time
owning enterprise platforms deployed into customer environments (on-prem / private cloud / VPC).
Experience with version sprawl, upgrade friction, and air-gapped deployments matters far more here
than consumer-scale SaaS experience.
- Technically Grounded: Deep familiarity with microservices, API design, and cloud-native
architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP); containers, Kubernetes, Helm, and operators; Auth/IAM, OAuth,
OpenID Connect, and RBAC; and large-scale data and ETL workflows.
- The Substrate Thinker: You reason naturally about backward compatibility, release management,
and what keeps a platform supportable across many customers at once.
- Governance-Aware: Working knowledge of data governance, audit, and lineage. You don't need to
be a privacy expert on day one, but you must be eager to go deep on PETs, DPIA workflows, and
regulations like India's DPDP and GDPR.
- Executive & Engineering Fluency: You can speak engineer and speak executive with equal
credibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Platform or Technical Product Manager on complex, deployed, dataheavy products.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to operate fluently with both engineering
teams and enterprise executives.
- A high degree of ownership and accountability, and a get-it-done approach to ambiguity.
