Technical Presales Architect
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Presales Architect to support sales engagements by designing high-level technical solutions, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and presenting compelling value propositions to clients. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with excellent communication and customer-facing skills, and can bridge business needs with technology solutions. Exposure to AI/GenAI-led solutioning is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Presales & Deal Support
- Lead and contribute to RFP/RFI responses, including solution design, estimates, and proposals
- Work closely with Sales teams to support deal pursuits and client engagements
- Participate in client presentations, solution walkthroughs, and demos
- Support deal discussions with clear technical and commercial inputs
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Design high-level solution architectures aligned to client requirements
- Define solution approaches using appropriate architecture patterns
- Design integrations using APIs and microservices
- Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and performance requirements
Commercial & Delivery Understanding
- Define:
- Solution approach
- Delivery model
- Team structure and roles
- Provide effort estimation and project sizing
- Demonstrate understanding of pricing models (T&M, Fixed Price)
- Contribute to costing, margins, and overall deal feasibility
AI / GenAI Solutioning (Preferred)
- Identify and position AI/GenAI use cases for clients
- Understand GenAI and Agentic AI concepts
- Exposure to platforms such as:
- Azure OpenAI
- AWS Bedrock
- Microsoft Copilot (or similar)
- Ability to articulate AI-led solution value clearly to business stakeholders
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
- 103+ years of overall IT experience (flexible based on profile strength)
- Currently or recently working as:
- Presales Architect
- Solution Architect
- Technical Architect with presales exposure
- Strong experience in client-facing roles
Technical Expertise (At Least One Area)
- Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Data, AI, or GenAI solutions
- Enterprise applications or system integrations
Presales Experience (Critical)
- Proven hands-on experience in:
- RFP/RFI responses
- Solution proposals
- Effort estimation and sizing
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong storytelling skills (technical + business)
- Ability to explain complex solutions in simple, clear terms
- Confident in client interactions and executive presentations
- Strong documentation skills (PPTs, proposals, solution decks)
- Experience working with Sales, Delivery, and Client stakeholders
