Senior Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:
• Lead end-to-end technical design and implementation of scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Make architectural decisions, choose appropriate design patterns, and enforce coding standards.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and development practices.
• Team Management & Mentorship:
• Guide and mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical direction and ensure best practices are followed across the team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and ownership.
• Project Execution:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies.
• Break down complex problems and delegate work efficiently across the team.
• Quality & Performance:
• Drive test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
• Ensure codebase performance, reliability, and security across services.
• Troubleshoot production issues and guide root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience in [insert tech stack – e.g., Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, React, Angular, etc.].
• Proven experience in designing scalable architectures (e.g., microservices, serverless, cloud-native).
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, APIs, and messaging systems.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and monitoring/logging tools.
• Domain experience in [Fintech, E-commerce, SaaS, HealthTech, etc.] is a plus.
• Technical certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, etc.) are advantageous.
