The candidate in this position will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of all branch activities. In addition to reporting all financial and operations information to company management, this candidate is responsible for hiring, training, and dismissing any employees at the branch.
Responsibilities
Technical & Operational Management
- Lead end-to-end technical operations for multiple facilities/sites, ensuring high availability of all engineering systems.
- Oversee Hard FM services including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, BMS, STP, WTP, DG Sets, UPS, and critical infrastructure.
- Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance is executed as per SLA and statutory norms.
- Monitor asset lifecycle, energy consumption, and system efficiency; drive optimization initiatives.
- Lead technical audits, condition assessments, and implementation of corrective actions.
Strategic Planning & Performance Management
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Monitor site-level KPIs, uptime, cost efficiencies, compliance scores, and service quality.
- Identify risks, gaps, and improvement areas; implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Drive innovation, automation, and best practices across technical operations.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary technical SPOC for key clients in Pune.
- Conduct periodic review meetings with clients to review performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
- Handle technical escalations effectively and ensure timely resolution.
- Support business retention and client satisfaction goals.
Financial & Budget Management
- Manage technical OPEX and CAPEX budgets for assigned sites.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising service quality or compliance.
- Support P&L management by ensuring cost controls, vendor productivity, and energy efficiency.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage AMCs, technical vendors, and specialist contractors.
- Ensure vendor compliance with contractual obligations, safety norms, and performance benchmarks.
- Participate in vendor evaluation, selection, and renewal processes.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead safety audits, emergency preparedness drills, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to local laws, electrical safety norms, fire and life safety standards.
- Ensure successful completion of internal, external, and client audits with high scores.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and mentor technical managers, engineers, and supervisors.
- Build strong succession planning and technical competency within teams.
- Conduct performance reviews, training needs assessment, and skill development programs.
- Foster a safety-first, performance-driven, and accountable culture.
Payroll & Labor Compliance (Technical Teams)
- Oversee attendance, contractor manpower deployment, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws relevant to technical staff and contractors.
- Support payroll accuracy for technical teams and contractors.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE / BTech) –
- Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical / Facilities / Building Services (preferred)
