HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Define test strategies, create exhaustive test plans, and automate test cases.
- Work extensively with RHEL and Unix-based operating systems, including scripting.
- Gain hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud security.
- Develop expertise in OTN, DWDM, SDH/SONET, Ethernet & GMPLS transport protocols.
- Conduct tests, analyze results, diagnose issues, and report bugs efficiently.
- Work with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive QL.
- Enhance analytical and debugging skills for complex system troubleshooting.
- Improve verbal and written communication for technical documentation and customer interactions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You have:
- Graduate or postgraduate in Engineering stream.
- 10+ years of previous experience in telecommunications network and system verification.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Programming skills (Python, Java, SQL).
- Exposure to technologies like DWDM, CWDM, SONET, OTN, Ethernet, IP, GMPLS.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
- Ability to work independently and also work effectively within a team.
- Experience in testing web-based applications, client-server applications, and using Jira or equivalent tools.
