Job Description

Role description & Role accountabilities:

  • Provide techno-managerial leadership support to the Advisory (Business and Sustainability) team in the Global Excellence Centres (GECs)
  • Support multiteam project delivery from the GEC including Investment Advisory (IA), Asset Strategy & Transformation Change, Sustainability, Supply Chain & Procurement (SC&P) Capital Programme Transformation (CPT)
  • Support the GEC Discipline Director to achieve Discipline targets, team growth, and objectives.
  • Establishing and consolidating relationships with senior staff in Business Area offices, taking ownership of the delivery and GEC's technical capabilities.
  • Support on bid proposals and new pursuits
  • Drive creativity and independent thinking within your team, including around new digital technologies.
  • Mentor team leads and team champion(s) to ensure high-quality standards and continuous improvement in safe design practices.
  • Take a leadership role within the team, providing direction and lead by example.
  • Manage the delivery of tasks in accordance with Arcadis Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets.
  • Working to ensure that best practices of delivery are adopted, and it is shared with relevant teams.
  • Promote both the regional and global culture of the business.
  • Early assessment of project and team risks and arriving with appropriate Corrective And Preventive Action (CAPA).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Have a master's degree in business administration (MBA) in Finance, Strategy, Sustainability or Supply Chain
  • Have 10+ years of client experience in top tier management including leadership in management consulting.
  • Experience working in GCC model preferred
  • Strong understanding of Environment, and Sustainability business
  • Experience in managing staff/stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines.
  • Interact with clients, understanding their needs, and conversing with regulators
  • Confident in building strong and lasting relationships at a regional and global level
  • A strong, self-motivated, and assertive person capable of working under pressure.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Flexible to adopt changes and challenges as per business requirements.
  • Proficient in global digital and technology trends related to the environmental sector
