Job Description

Role: Technical Delivery Manager

Location: Gurugram/ Hyderabad/Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Finance transformation and automation: Collaborate with FaaS team and look out for opportunities that can be automated with the help automation tool.
  2. Manage end-to-end delivery of client engagements, ensuring timelines, quality, and scope are met
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling escalations and maintaining strong relationships
  4. Translate business requirements into actionable technical and functional deliverables
  5. Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution
  6. Ensure high-quality deliverables through regular reviews and adherence to standards
  7. System Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay up to date with FAO tech stacks updates and collaborate with IT for system upgrades and enhancements.
  8. Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
  9. Compliance: Ensure that BlackLine usage adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  10. Develop collaborative relationships with partnering teams and stakeholders to identify system improvement opportunities.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, MIS or IT
  • 10+ years Accounting or Finance Experience
  • Background in financial close process optimization/continuous improvement
  • Experience leading implementations of ERP and finance applications.
  • Expertise in process analysis and redesign of business processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with sensitivity to timeframes, budgets and outcomes across multiple clients and projects
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized/focused in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment with competing demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BlackLine/ERP/EPM Implementation Certified Consultant
  • Experience with automation by leveraging tools i.e., Gen AI, Agentic AI, Alteryx, PowerBI
  • Experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm or other professional services environment
  • Experience in an outsourced accounting role
  • CA, CPA, MBA Finance

  • Highly focused customers with ability to provide consistently excellent customer service and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to quickly assess situations to pinpoint the scope/source of technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be dependable and able to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Must possess strong sense of ownership of client relationships.
  • Positively represent the company to clients and always provide empathetic and friendly customer service.
  • Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills to manage case load of old and new cases in individual case queues.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, shift priorities quickly as required, and rapidly adapt to changing environments.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction, as well as be resourceful and independent in solving problems.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
