Role Description
- This position sits in RFT (Risk Finance Treasury) within IB Technology.We are looking for a Technical Delivery Engineer with strong background of technical delivery execution to drive deliveries of complex technology initiatives within risk reduction program and compliance domain. This role is a hybrid of a delivery engineer and technical project manager, ideal for someone who can not only manage cross-functional stakeholders but also dive deep into solutioning, integration and execution-level details.

Your key responsibilities
- Technical Delivery Execution:
- Own and lead the technical delivery lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment) for large-scale risk and compliance programs.
- Drive hands-on integration efforts with centralized platforms (e.g., data masking, archival, OSS, security controls), ensuring application-level onboarding and configurations are delivered as per standards.
- Participate in solution discussions, data flow reviews, and validate technical feasibility with engineering teams.
- Collaborate with development and infra teams to ensure timely resolution of environmental, access, and tooling issues.
- Facilitate technical walkthroughs, demo sessions, and PoCs for key deliveries.
Program & Stakeholder Management
- Co-ordinate across multiple application teams, platform owners, and InfoSec to ensure successful onboarding and risk mitigation.
- Track and report program milestones, risk mitigation status, and delivery KPIs across relevant oversight forums.
- Work with Product Owners, Architects, and Control Partners to define and align delivery roadmaps.
- Lead issue triaging, dependency management, and conflict resolution across tech teams.
Risk & Compliance Alignment
- Ensure delivery meets enterprise risk standards, regulatory requirements, and internal audit commitments.
- Track delivery of control objectives across PII, confidential data handling, and production-to-non-production data movement.
Maintain documentation for audit and compliance evidence, including runbooks, solution designs, and control attestations.
Your skills and experience
- Technical Delivery Experience15+ years in technical delivery, infrastructure engineering, or project/delivery management roles within large enterprises.
- Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)Delivery experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP 4.x) or similar Kubernetes-based platforms. Understanding of containerized application deployments and platform onboarding requirements.
Infrastructure Knowledge:
- Operating Systems Solid exposure to Windows Server, UNIX, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Infra/Cloud Awareness Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, NFS, and enterprise infra setup.
Migration Projects:
- Experience participating in or driving large-scale migration programs, including database migrations (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), infrastructure uplift, and application re-platforming.
- Exposure to cloud/on-prem hybrid models or legacy-to-modern stack transitions.
Tools & Process:
- Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and project tracking tools.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, basic scripting, and automation frameworks (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive resolution across technical and functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to translate complex technical topics into clear stakeholder messaging.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
