We are looking for a smart, dynamic, and detail-oriented Technical QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automation testing with a focus on mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web platforms. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure our applications meet high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile apps and web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Develop test strategies, plans, and test scripts to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, UI/UX, and integration testing.
- Track, analyze, and report bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Set up and maintain automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Continuously improve test coverage, tools, and processes.
- Work with developers to understand root cause of issues and ensure fixes are effective.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test cases and results.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA testing for mobile and web applications.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
- Experience working with Android and iOS apps, along with cross-browser testing for web apps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking systems and test case management tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate backend data.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus.
