Job Summary
The role is responsible for reviewing KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure all metrics remain within accepted thresholds. The incumbent will drive continuous performance improvement while ensuring backlog and past-due percentages are maintained within defined SLAs. The role also focuses on achieving productivity and quality goals through a resolution-driven approach.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Review KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure all metrics are within accepted standards
- Drive continuous performance and grade improvement across the team
- Ensure backlog and past-due percentages are maintained within defined SLAs
- Ensure the team consistently meets productivity and quality goals
- Promote a resolution-based working approach and ensure adherence to the DDIE model
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and identify, implement, and track improvement opportunities
- Mentor and coach team members as required
- Coordinate with the Quality team to identify gaps and mitigate issues by providing regular feedback to the team
- Act as a problem solver for the team, identify opportunities within the DDIE model, and manage team absenteeism
Job Qualifications & Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in US Healthcare RCM with strong expertise in AR Calling
- Hands-on experience with both Federal and Commercial insurances in a provider setup
- Strong knowledge of billing scrubbers, clearinghouse (CH) and payer rejections, and end-to-end RCM processes
- Good understanding of major AR scenarios and experience working with multiple payers (added advantage)
- Excellent communication and strong analytical skills
- Strong multitasking ability, capable of taking active call notes and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
