Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, student-focused educator to join our Primary Years team and teach Grades 3 to 5 within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The successful candidate will create engaging, inquiry-driven learning experiences that nurture academic growth, social development, and the full potential of each learner.
Teaching & Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework and school expectations.
Facilitate trans-disciplinary learning that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and student agency.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
Create meaningful opportunities for students to take ownership of their learning.
Assessment & Feedback
Use formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and report student progress.
Provide constructive feedback that promotes student growth and development.
Record and organize assessment data to inform instruction and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Classroom Environment & Management
Establish a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom culture that fosters respect and collaboration.
Manage student behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.
Collaboration & Communication
Work collaboratively with grade-level teams, specialist teachers, and school leaders to plan and coordinate curriculum.
Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, strengths, and areas for growth.
