We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Homeroom Teacher (HRT) to join our team at our Jubilee Hills and Janwada Campuses.
The ideal candidate must have experience teaching under the Cambridge and/or IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum, with a strong understanding of inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centered learning approaches.
As a Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for the overall academic, social, and emotional development of your class while delivering high-quality instruction aligned with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge and/or IB Primary Years frameworks across core primary subjects (English, Math, EVS/Science) etc.
- Implement inquiry-based and transdisciplinary teaching strategies
- Create a structured, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative assessment methods
- Maintain detailed student records and prepare progress reports
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development
- Support students social-emotional growth and well-being
- Participate in curriculum planning, school events, and professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 23 years of experience teaching Cambridge and/or IB Primary curriculum
- Strong understanding of international curriculum standards
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to foster critical thinking and conceptual understanding
- Passion for working with young learners
