About The Role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist / HRBP is a dual role responsible for driving full cycle recruitment efforts while supporting key HR initiatives that enhance employee experience. Approximately 75% of the role is focused on talent acquisition, primarily supporting hiring in the India region, while the remaining 25% supports HR business partnering activities including onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives.

The role reports to the Global Talent Acquisition Manager and requires flexibility to collaborate across IST and CST time zones to support global stakeholders and hiring needs. This position plays a critical part in building a high performing and diverse workforce while contributing to a positive, engaging, and scalable workplace culture. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for roles across India, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and closing candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define hiring needs, and build effective sourcing strategies
  • Develop and execute proactive talent pipelines using LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and industry mapping
  • Ensure a strong candidate experience through timely communication and structured interview processes
  • Manage offer negotiations in partnership with Finance and People Operations, ensuring alignment with compensation frameworks
  • Support onboarding programs to ensure smooth transition of new hires into the organization
  • Collaborate with HR team on employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data, dashboards, and insights for leadership reporting
  • Provide market intelligence and hiring insights to Global Talent Acquisition leadership
  • Contribute to HR projects that improve employee experience, engagement, and organizational effectiveness

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HRBP, or a hybrid People Operations role
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment within technology, SaaS, or high-growth environments
  • Strong stakeholder management experience partnering with global hiring managers and senior leaders
  • Experience in building and executing sourcing strategies across multiple roles and functions
  • Strong understanding of interview frameworks, candidate evaluation, and offer negotiation processes
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Experience working in global or cross-border teams with IST and CST overlap flexibility
  • Familiarity with HR systems and ATS tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to HRBP responsibilities, including onboarding, engagement, and retention programs
  • Experience working in aviation, engineering, or regulated industries (preferred but not required)
  • Strong ability to analyze recruiting metrics and translate insights into hiring improvements
  • Exposure to AI-enabled recruiting tools and platforms, including:
  • AI sourcing & Screening tools (e.g., LinkedIn AI, hireEZ, SeekOut)
  • ChatGPT or generative AI for job descriptions, outreach, and candidate engagement
  • Data-driven recruiting dashboards and automation workflows
  • Experience building or improving employee referral programs or talent pipelines
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environments
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve recruiting efficiency and quality of hire
  • Ability to leverage AI for resume screening, candidate shortlisting, and outreach personalization
  • Experience using AI insights to improve talent pipeline planning and hiring forecasts
  • Interest in continuously exploring new AI applications in Talent Acquisition and HR operations
