Job Description

Job Role:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading the recruitment function to attract, source, and hire top talent in alignment with the organization's growth objectives. This role encompasses talent attraction strategies, candidate assessment, compliance, and the implementation of hiring standards. The specialist also plays a pivotal role in employer branding, corporate hiring initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders to build and sustain a robust talent pipeline across the business.

Job Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Manage the full lifecycle of recruiting and selection activities for both global and PAN India operations.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies through diverse channels, including internal referrals, job boards, media campaigns, social media, and recruitment vendors.
  • Focus on passive candidate attraction, leveraging social recruiting tools to maximize reach and engagement.

Campus Recruitment

  • Design and execute campus recruitment strategies to identify and attract fresh talent from universities and colleges.
  • Build strong relationships with placement cells and academic institutions to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Organize and participate in campus recruitment events, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and career fairs.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives specifically targeting students and entry-level talent.

Employer Branding & Talent Marketing

  • Research and implement innovative employer branding strategies to enhance the organization's visibility as a preferred employer.
  • Create effective candidate marketing campaigns to attract high-quality talent.
  • Represent the organization at recruiting events, job fairs, campus placements, conferences, and networking functions to establish relationships and build a talent pool.

Candidate Assessment & Vendor Management

  • Partner with external vendors to manage psychometric and technical assessments for mid-to-senior level roles.
  • Guide business leaders and internal teams in formulating detailed job descriptions tailored to organizational needs.
  • Ensure candidate assessment processes comply with organizational and industry standards.

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct ongoing market research on industries, skill sets, and competitors to provide strategic insights to recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Use data to inform hiring strategies and ensure alignment with the organization's growth plans.

Metrics, Reporting & Feedback Mechanisms

  • Develop and manage metrics to measure hiring team performance, recruitment efficiency, and overall impact.
  • Create detailed recruitment dashboards to provide stakeholders with accurate, real-time updates on hiring progress.
  • Establish strong feedback loops with stakeholders to address challenging mandates and ensure collaborative problem-solving.

Requirements:

1. Must possess a deep understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

2. Ability to propose innovative ideas and solutions to ensure timely and effective closures of hiring requirements

3. Demonstrates proactive communication skills, ensuring timely escalations and resolutions of any recruitment-related challenges.

4. Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and strategies to attract the best talent in the market

5. Maintains a robust network of consultants and recruitment partners to support hiring needs.

6. Prior experience in the logistics and supply chain industry is highly desirable. Candidates who have worked or recruited in similar industries will be given preference.

7. An MBA or equivalent degree in Human Resource or related field is a must.
