The Recruiter is a key member of the People Acquisition team within the People Office (HR) Team at Ankura Business Services, our internal support services division.
Role Overview
As we expand our presence in India with our offices in Mumbai and Gurgaon, we are seeking an enthusiastic Recruitment professional to join our People team. This crucial position, located in our Gurgaon office, offers the opportunity to recruit for a variety of skill sets and contribute to the development of the Gurgaon office and Ankura's presence in India. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the business and play an active role in advancing our growth strategies within India.
Based in our Gurgaon Office, this role is focused on sourcing and recruiting for various business groups. Ankura is one of the fastest-growing global firms, embarking on an exciting expansion journey. Since 2020, we've strategically opened new offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Melbourne, Ireland, Germany, Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Riyadh, reflecting our commitment to expanding our global reach and delivering exceptional expertise across diverse markets.
We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days per week in the Gurgaon office.

Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment processes efficiently, ensuring excellent candidate experiences and swift turnaround times.
- Track and report on pipeline, recruitment metrics, and performance data to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure success in recruiting and maintaining robust candidate pipelines through various channels, including employee referrals and both active and passive candidates.
- Utilise creative strategies to source candidates and maintain data integrity in our ATS (Workday) and other systems.
- Partner with business leaders to understand and advise on talent needs and adapt to changing headcount plans.
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry best practices.
- Recommend process optimisations and manage a structured multi-stage interview process to reduce bias.
- Develop compelling on brand job descriptions to attract top talent.
- Conduct outreach campaigns using relevant content to engage potential candidates.
- Nurture talent to create a pool of qualified candidates interested in Ankura.
- Maintain professional communication with candidates to foster long-term relationships and retention during the recruitment process.
- Use data to enhance candidate and hiring team experiences and address process weaknesses.
- Continue to elevate talent acquisition standards using research-driven targeting and assessment tools.
- Partner with hiring managers and interviewers to meet headcount targets, including time to offer.
- Oversee the onboarding process, including new starter administration and first-day inductions for compliance purposes.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment, preferably within professional services.
- Demonstrable experience in end-to-end recruitment and HR in a complex, matrix-driven international professional services firm.
- Experience recruiting high volume and complex skill sets across various sectors and job levels.
- Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates in the APAC region using creative sourcing techniques.
- Proficient in IT skills, including MS Office and HR systems/databases such as Workday.
- Strong organisational skills and effective time management are essential, to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and maintain high standards of performance to meet deadlines.
- Structured communication and intercultural skills, with the ability to build relationships across international borders.
- A proactive, resilient, and adaptable mindsetcapable of thriving in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- A results-driven attitude, curiosity for the talent market, and a genuine passion for recruitment.
- Attention to detail and operational excellence in prioritising stakeholder needs.
- Metrics-driven with experience using data to enhance the recruitment process; experience with Workday is a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with international stakeholders.

- This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at least three days per week.
