Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Talend-based ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data across systems.

Build reusable Talend jobs, components, and frameworks aligned with best practices for scalability and maintainability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define mappings, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Implement data validation, error handling, logging, and alerting to ensure reliable and auditable data pipelines.

Perform performance tuning and optimization of Talend jobs, SQL queries, and data flows to meet SLAs.

Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive fixes through to closure.

Create and maintain technical documentation including job design, data mappings, and operational runbooks.

Support releases by coordinating deployments, versioning, and environment promotions in line with team processes. Minimum Qualifications:

BTECH, MTECH, MCA, or MSC.

3â€5 years of experience in data integration/ETL development with Talend.

Strong hands-on experience with Talend and Talend Open Studio, including job design, debugging, and deployment support.

Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.

Experience implementing robust error handling, logging, and data quality checks in ETL pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing end-to-end integration solutions including source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.

Familiarity with scheduling and orchestration practices for ETL workflows and operational monitoring.

Exposure to data warehousing concepts (dimensions/facts), incremental loads, and CDC-style patterns.

Ability to improve pipeline performance through tuning, partitioning strategies, and efficient transformation design.

Strong communication skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams and drive delivery outcomes.
