Tableau Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal

candidate will lead the design and development of advanced business intelligence solutions

using Tableau as the primary visualization tool and Power BI as a secondary platform. This role

involves technical leadership, mentoring BI developers, and collaborating with business

stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics solutions. The candidate will play a critical role in

transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

We'll trust you to:

• Lead the design and development of interactive Tableau dashboards and visual analytics

solutions.

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business reporting needs.

• Guide and mentor junior BI developers and analysts, providing technical direction and best

practices.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into

effective data visualizations and analytics solutions.

• Design and implement data models and optimized queries to support reporting performance.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Optimize dashboards and reports for performance, usability, and scalability.

• Conduct code reviews, dashboard reviews, and quality assurance testing.

• Work closely with data engineering and data warehouse teams to improve data pipelines and

reporting structures.

• Support deployment and management of Tableau Server and Power BI Service environments.

• Stay up to date with new features, visualization techniques, and BI best practices.

You'll need to have:

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

Experience

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, or Analytics.

• Strong expertise in Tableau (Primary Skill) including advanced dashboard development, LOD

expressions, parameters, and Tableau Server.

• Working experience with Power BI (Secondary Skill) including DAX, Power Query, and report

development.

• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimization.

• Experience leading BI development teams or mentoring junior developers.

• Experience working with large datasets, enterprise data warehouses, and analytical reporting

environments.

Technical Skills

• Advanced experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.

• Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

• Understanding of ETL processes and data integration pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
