Job Description

We are seeking a BI & Automation Analyst with strong experience in business intelligence, Python-based automation, SQL programming and a solid understanding of accounting and financial processes. This role will focus on building automated data solutions, delivering actionable insights, and supporting finance and business teams with reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

• Build and maintain Python-based automation for data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting

• Work closely with Accounting and Finance teams to understand financial workflows, reporting requirements, and controls

• Automate recurring financial and operational reports to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection to ensure data integrity

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes

• Document automation workflows, BI logic, and data definitions

• Collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders to enhance data models and reporting solutions

Required Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data automation roles

• Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, scripting, scheduling jobs)

• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Sigma BI, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent), Excel & VBA

• Solid understanding of accounting concepts (GL, P&L, balance sheet, accruals, reconciliations)

• Hands-on experience working with SQL and relational databases along with Snowflake

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and finance stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience automating finance or accounting workflows

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience with data pipelines, APIs, or ETL tools

• Exposure to audit, compliance, or financial controls is a plus
