Key Responsibilities:
- BODS Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of BODS solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive Technical Specification documents to guide development and implementation processes.
- Data Integration: Develop real-time interfaces using IDOC, BAPI, and other SAP applications with BODS to facilitate seamless data integration.
- Data Migration Projects: Manage end-to-end data migration projects, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities.
- SQL Proficiency: Utilize advanced SQL skills to perform complex data manipulations and ensure data integrity.
- BODS Installation and Configuration: Oversee the installation and configuration of BODS environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP BODS, with a proven track record in data integration and migration projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BODS design and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with real-time interfaces like IDOC and BAPI.
- Strong command of SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience in data migration projects with end-to-end implementation.
- Familiarity with SAP systems as source and target platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and schema formation.
- Experience with BODS scheduling and Management Console.
