ServiceNow
Developer / Administrator
Key
Responsibilities:
Development:
- Design, develop, and configure
- applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.
- Customize ServiceNow workflows
- and automate processes using scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.).
- Create and maintain catalog
- items, forms, and UI policies in ServiceNow.
- Develop integrations between
- ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, MID Server, and other
- integration tools.
Administration:
- Perform day-to-day ServiceNow
- platform administration, including user access management, configuration,
- and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and optimize platform
- performance and security.
- Manage ServiceNow upgrades,
- patches, and releases, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Enforce best practices and
- ensure compliance with governance standards for ServiceNow usage.
Collaboration
& Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders
- to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with IT teams,
- including ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps, to enhance ServiceNow functionalities.
- Provide user training and
- create technical documentation, including process flows and solution
- designs.
Quality
& Innovation:
- Maintain and enhance existing
- ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, and
- Asset Management.
- Identify opportunities for
- automation and innovation within IT and business processes.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform
- root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Qualifications:
Education
& Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer
- Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience
- as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator.
Skills
& Certifications:
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow
- modules like ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB.
- Proficiency in JavaScript,
- HTML, CSS, and AngularJS for custom development.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs
- and integration methods.
- ServiceNow Certified System
- Administrator (CSA) required; Developer or Implementation Specialist
- certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile
- development methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Soft
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and
- collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently
- and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and
- principles.
- Experience with ServiceNow
