Sustainability Specialist, Motion Services

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving sustainability performance in Motion Services division. Each day, you will support the implementation of the group-wide sustainability strategy and division-specific priorities by applying in-depth knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within your own unit and across ABB.

The work model for the role is: Onsite/Hybrid on any ABB Motion sites in India

This role is contributing to the Motion Services global sustainability strategy implementation through execution follow-up, coordinating specific projects in sustainability area and ensuring reporting is accurate.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Assisting in reporting sustainability progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level sustainability objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required.

• Supporting and driving behavioral change in Motion Services through the implementation of group-wide and division-specific programs and practices to ensure a strong focus on sustainability matters, across your respective organization.

• Contributing to and planning and executing sustainability-related projects.

• Developing project objectives and reporting the progress to management.

Qualifications for the role :

• Bachelors degree with minimum 4-7 years of experience in sustainability strategy implementation, KPIs, and reporting

• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver sustainability projects with delivery of measured impact

• Strong project management and execution follow‑up skills

• Ability to drive behavioral change across teams and functions

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience in a global, matrixed industrial organization

• Excellent English language skills are required in this role

• You are passionate about changing the world of industries into leaner and cleaner in their operations
