  • Position involves a role that is responsible for the implementation of JDA Category Management with good knowledge of JDA Category Management. These include independently handling the implementation and providing solutions to technical/functional issues. The associate should have strong product knowledge in at least any 3 of the areas (SP, FP & AO, CKB, CC, Reporting).
  • Should be able to lead a team of 5-15 people independently.

Scope

  • Core responsibilities include managing a team of 5-15 people who provide maintenance and support for customers, as well as managing environment and product-related issues.

Our Current Technical Environment

  • Software: BY Products, Dot Net, BA Tools (Cognos) , IIS, Tomcat
  • Tools: PowerShell scripting, SQL, Basics of C# scripting
  • Frameworks/Others: Azure, Control-m, Zabbix monitoring, Git etc.,

What You'll Do

  • Should have good knowledge of the Category Management product. Should have hands-on experience with installing and configuring the product and understand the interactions within various modules.
  • Candidate should be familiar with Azure Basics and preferably should have completed Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification.
  • It is desirable to have a candidate who has worked on oracle to SQL server migration. The candidate should be able to manage the architecture challenges from migrating to SQL + data migration issues.
  • Candidate should possess knowledge of batch scheduling tools used in Azure.
  • Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of integration options with Azure and be able to advise on the Web services [SOAP, REST etc.].
  • It is preferable if the candidate has previous experience working in any of the cloud technologies and should be familiar with the basic network terminologies.
  • Should have experience in reviewing the integration design and suggest best practices.
  • It is mandatory to have good knowledge of SQL Server concepts
  • Candidate should be able to review an existing application set up and perform an assessment for suitability to upgrade.
  • Understands how JDA solutions can be configured to better facilitate client business processes.
  • Should have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of any defect management tool will be an added advantage.
  • Ensures quantity and quality content in the Knowledgebase. Should be able to drive a KT and Transition plan effectively.
  • The candidate should have the knowledge of incident, problem and change management process.
  • Responsible for incident resolution for a specific set of customers within the specified POD / Product / Project
  • Adheres to priority-based management based on impact + urgency.
  • Drive Service Improvement Plans and ensures the Incident Management process is performed as designed

  • Must have excellent organization and technical documentation skills.

Work Experience

  • 7-10 years of work experience
  • To have experience on Category management product
  • Experience with working on Azure & understands Azure landscape to Implement the product architecture effectively.
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting.
  • Nice to have Proficiency in Windows/Unix commands and troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding on Control-m & other CLM/BL tools.

Miscellaneous

  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, as project and system availability requirements demand.
  • Should be willing to travel to customer sites for short duration if the need arises.

  • Should be able to lead a team of 5-15 people independently.
