Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development & Optimization: Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions using Databricks, optimizing the use of all available resources. You'll develop solutions that align with business needs and reflect a clear understanding of corporate objectives.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrate the ability to break down complex problems into manageable pieces, identify root causes versus symptoms, and implement effective, timely solutions. You'll manage problems that require cross-functional involvement.
- Team & Capability Building: Help develop a team focused on Operations Excellence, building tools and capabilities that development teams can leverage to maintain high levels of performance, scalability, security, and availability.
- Continuous Learning: Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies as business needs evolve.
Required Skills
- Databricks Expertise: Must have 7-10 years of experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Cloud Platform: Hands-on experience with Azure.
- Programming: Strong experience with Python scripting.
- Data Engineering: Relevant experience with ETL methods and retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses.
- Database Knowledge: Strong experience with relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL.
- Azure Architecture: Knowledge of Azure architecture and design principles.
