Key Responsibilities – Supply & Material Planning
- Develops and executes inventory plans to balance customer demand with supply constraints, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. They ensure product availability by managing production schedules, collaborating with stakeholders
- Inventory Planning & Optimization - Analyze and define appropriate inventory targets (safety stock) to optimize service levels and working capital across FG, Raws & Packs
- Production Scheduling - Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans/production schedules to meet demand. Track production volumes and monitor production patterns and purchasing trends to anticipate risks and opportunities.
- Demand Analysis - Review forecasts and actual orders, adjusting plans based on market trends and constraints.
- Define inventory strategy to balance service levels with the risk of stock-outs, non-moving/near-expiry inventory, and quality-related constraints (NQC).
- Partner with Demand Planners, Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, R&D, and Quality to align supply & material plans.
- Support innovation and change management initiatives to ensure new projects are launched on time with minimal waste and clear trade-offs.
Scope: 3 factories | 800–1,000 FG SKUs | 2,000–2,500 raw & packaging SKUs | 150 stores
Experience & Key Competencies
- Key competencies: planning and problem-solving, proactiveness, stakeholder management and customer focus, ability to manage ambiguity, and confidence to work independently when required.
- 2 - 5+ years of relevant experience; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing Supply/Demand Planning or Customer Service in a Retail/FMCG environment.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong comfort with numbers and data analysis.
