Job Summary
We are looking for an
Assistant Manager Supply to drive end-to-end supply operations across assigned states, including seller onboarding, activation, fulfilment, and pricing competitiveness.
This role requires strong team leadership, data-driven execution, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business targets, improve seller experience, and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement state-level supply strategies for seller onboarding, activation, and fulfilment
- Identify gaps and growth opportunities across regions
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage Team Leads and ground teams to ensure performance consistency
- Drive ownership, accountability, and target achievement through regular reviews
- Seller Acquisition & Retention
- Drive onboarding of new sellers and reactivation of dormant sellers
- Strengthen the active supply base to support demand growth
- Performance Management
- Track KRAs/KPIs across onboarding, activation, and fulfilment
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
- Pricing & Market Competitiveness
- Monitor state-wise pricing trends and validate seller rates
- Ensure alignment with market benchmarks and business margins
- Process Compliance & Operations
- Ensure adherence to onboarding SOPs, documentation, and operational hygiene
- Maintain process discipline across teams
- Data & Reporting Governance
- Review daily/weekly performance reports for accuracy and insights
- Share actionable inputs with central supply leadership
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Demand, Logistics, and Finance teams
- Ensure smooth order flow, fulfilment, and payment/recovery processes
- Capability Building
- Conduct training sessions, audits, and performance reviews
- Build a high-performing, result-oriented supply team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or related field
- 37 years of experience in supply operations, vendor management, or procurement
- Experience in multi-team or state-level management is preferred
- Prior exposure to e-commerce or agri-input industry is a strong advantage
