Job Summary
We are looking for an
Assistant Manager Demand to drive state-level demand operations by managing customer engagement, GMV growth, and order conversion through strong team leadership and data-driven execution.
This role will focus on scaling the customer base, improving conversion efficiency, ensuring pricing competitiveness, and delivering a seamless customer experience across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute state-wise demand generation strategies aligned with business goals
- Identify growth opportunities across regions and customer segments
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage Team Leads and Demand Agents to drive performance
- Ensure consistent target achievement through structured reviews and coaching
- Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Drive new customer acquisition, reactivation, and retention initiatives
- Strengthen active buyer base and improve repeat purchase behavior
- GMV & Conversion Management
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly GMV and order conversion metrics
- Optimize funnel (leads connects conversions) for better efficiency
- Pricing & Market Competitiveness
- Gather field-level pricing insights and validate competitiveness
- Collaborate with internal teams to align pricing with market dynamics
- Customer Experience & Escalation Handling
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution
- Improve post-order communication and customer satisfaction
- Process Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure accurate CRM updates, order tracking, and ticket closures
- Maintain discipline in reporting and operational hygiene
- Performance Governance
- Track KPIs/KRAs and identify performance gaps
- Drive improvement plans through regular reviews and training
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Supply, Marketing, and Finance teams
- Ensure smooth order fulfillment, offer execution, and collections
- Capability Building
- Conduct training sessions, audits, and team engagement initiatives
- Improve productivity and overall team effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or related field
- 35 years of experience in telesales / demand generation / CRM roles
- Prior experience in e-commerce or agri-input industry is preferred
