Supervisor, Material Management

Serve as Project Material Manager on small EPFC (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction) projects or as regional lead for non-project procurement.

Plan, organize, direct, and control purchasing or regional indirect procurement functions.

Direct purchasing, expediting, or field purchasing activities for assigned projects or regions.

Develop or assist in the development of purchasing, expediting, or field purchasing plans in accordance with project or corporate guidelines.

Perform material buying, expediting, and field purchasing activities following the corporate Operating System Requirements (OSR) and Material Management Plans.

Provide general and direct supervision to purchasing, expediting, and support staff.

Implement, manage, and monitor Material Management Work Processes using approved Corporate Reference Tools to meet project requirements and schedules.

Negotiate and assist in negotiation of large or complex equipment and bulk material packages to achieve best value for the project.

Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and global standards.
