Principal Specialist, Material Management

Maintain the highest ethical standards of Material Management professional responsibility.

Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.

Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.

Work effectively within multi-functional, culturally and regionally diverse project teams.

Prepare and issue RFQ bidder lists and RFQs; review and understand project Terms and Conditions.

Negotiate terms, conditions, and commercial attributes with suppliers.

Prepare bid tabulations for equipment and bulk commodities.

Participate in all task force meetings and chair clarification meetings.

Prepare and issue purchase orders and change orders; ensure timely submittal and processing of supplier invoices.

Handle Purchase Order closeout.

Proactively manage suppliers and sub-suppliers to maintain delivery schedules.

Expedite timely submittal/return of engineering documents, delivery of sub-vendor material, and fabrication activities to track contractual delivery schedules.

Detect and resolve potential issues early and implement Recovery Plans if required.

Maintain approved material management reference system schedules and expediting notes.
