Job Title : Subject Matter Expert (Retail)

Experience : From 12 to 19 year(s) of experience

Location : Bangalore, Pune

Job description :

  • Greater than 12 years of experience in IT industry with minimum 8+ in Retail industry in Techno-Functional roles.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Must possess deep technical and functional knowledge in the retail domain, including eCommerce, order management, warehouse management, and integration with store technologies such as customer-facing POS, merchandising, and promotions & inventory management systems.
  • Experience with Large-Scale Implementations: Must have demonstrated experience with considerable no. of large-scale implementations for major US retailers in the above stated Retail domain.
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Must have proven track record in microservices transformation programs focused on order and warehouse management, ANDOR domain expertise from implementing solutions like Manhattan or Sterling Commerce or similar technologies.
  • Micro Services & Headless Architecture: Must have hands-on experience with microservices and headless commerce architecture, using open-source platforms or solutions like Commerce Tools, Adobe Commerce, Magento, Oracle eCommerce (ATG) or similar technologies.
  • Integration: Must be well-versed in integrations and cloud technologies, and API gateway management services such as MuleSoft, Apigee, Dell Boomi, or similar API gateways by cloud providers. System integration with other downstream system is a must.
  • Management Functions:
  • Pre-Sales Strategy: Lead and develop pre-sales strategies in response to market trends and competitor activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Engineering, Delivery, and Sales teams to create sustainable and commercially viable sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs, make compelling sales presentations, and align offerings with customer roadmaps, requirements, and focus areas.
  • Demand Generation: Partner with the marketing team to conduct demand-generating activities such as trade shows and customer workshops.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers with Sales Team.

Additional Job Description :

  • Experience in RFPs and RFI's, POCs.
  • Experience working with global customers.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. 
  • Analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients.
  • Willingness to travel.
