Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and creative Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mathematics to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex theories and student understanding, ensuring our educational content is accurate, engaging, and pedagogically sound.While you will oversee content for grades 1–12 your primary focus will be providing advanced expertise for grades 6–12, where conceptual depth in Higher Mathematics is critical. You will be the source of truth for academic integrity and the architect of learning experiences that spark curiosity.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Development: Create high-quality lesson plans, practice modules, and assessments that align with national and international curriculum standards.
- Curriculum Design: Map out learning trajectories for grades 1–12, ensuring a logical spiral progression where concepts in primary years lay a solid foundation for secondary school rigor.
- Advanced Pedagogy (Grades 6–12): Develop specialized content for middle and high school focussing on establishing personalised Adaptive learning modules.
- Quality Assurance & Fact-Checking: Rigorously review all educational materials for mathematical accuracy, scientific validity, and grammatical precision.
- Multimedia Collaboration: Aligning deeply and in the most relevant manner multimedia to all assessments framed.
- Training & Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior content creators, providing feedback on conceptual clarity and instructional design.
Academic Excellence
Required Skills & Experience
- Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related STEM field (Ph.D. or B.Ed. is a significant plus).
- Exceptional conceptual clarity across the K-12 spectrum, with the ability to simplify a grade 3 fraction lesson just as effectively as explaining grade 10 trigonometry or kinematics.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Cross-Disciplinary Proficiency: Ability to move seamlessly between Mathematical logic and Scientific inquiry.
- Curriculum Familiarity: Deep understanding of major boards (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, or Common Core).
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency Google suite, use of AI tools in content
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems into step-by-step solutions (Step 1→Step 2→Solution).
- Open to using AI to create and enhance Mathematics content, generate practice questions, support concept explanations, and streamline academic planning and reporting. This is a must have requirement for this role.
Preferred Experience Levels
- Total Experience: 6-10 years in the education sector.
- Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience is highly preferred to understand student pain points and misconception hotspots.
- Content Creation: Proven track record of developing curriculum or EdTech content specifically for the 6–12 grade bracket.
- Assessment Design: Experience in creating Bloom's Taxonomy-aligned questions (ranging from recall to high-order thinking skills).
- Product experience: Hands on experience with building any Edtech Product would be a strong asset.
