Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam for a Study Abroad Student Counselor. Responsibilities include providing students with personalized guidance in educational and career planning, assisting with university and course selection, managing admission applications, and offering visa application support. The counselor will also conduct information sessions, address queries related to scholarships and destinations, and ensure a smooth workflow through effective communication with students, universities, and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for counseling and guiding students and families effectively
- Knowledge of university admission processes, visa application procedures, and country-specific requirements
- Proficiency in organizing and managing application documentation and processes efficiently
- Expertise in problem-solving, research, and attention to detail to provide accurate and actionable advice
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and serve as a liaison between students and institutions
- Professional experience in student counseling or education consultancy is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or related field
