Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and review structural systems for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (IS codes, international standards where applicable).
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and site teams to ensure design feasibility and execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure structural integrity.
- Review and approve contractor drawings and modifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency and sustainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
- 7–9 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, steel structures, and foundation design.
- Proficiency in tools such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, or SAP2000.
- Familiarity with sustainable/eco-friendly construction methods (preferred).
- Good understanding of IS codes and design standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
