Position-Structural Engineer
Location-Oman
Structural Fabrication and Erection Engineer should have hands-on experience in steel construction, and should be specialised in technical and field work. The person should have knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry. Candidates must be proficient in reading technical drawings and managing site safety along with experience with heavy industrial or high-rise projects.
Key Job Experience Criteria
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in interpreting fabrication drawings and shop drawings is essential.
- Fabrication Knowledge: Experience in cutting, fitting, welding, and assembling steel components, as well as familiarity with workshop machinery.
- Erection Experience: Experience in managing crane operations, rigging, and site logistics for structural assembly.
- Industry Standards: Working knowledge of codes such as AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) and AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
- Safety & Compliance: A solid understanding of safety standards for working at heights and with heavy materials.
- Project Management: Managing timelines, conducting site inspections.
- Quality and Productivity: Candidate must be able to deliver highest standard of quality with good production skill.
Qualification
BE / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from reputed University
