THE ROLE – Strategic Account Manager

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be the primary relationship owner for Xyma's technology within key large accounts across India.

You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and growing revenue through technology buyers and resellers in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, and allied industries. Your role will involve positioning Xyma's monitoring platform as an embedded or preferred solution within their offerings.

This is a high-visibility, client-facing role that requires a blend of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate Xyma's value proposition to senior global stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Identify and engage Heads of Inspection, Maintenance, and Reliability across target industries
  • Own the complete partnership lifecycle — from prospecting and pitching to agreements, co-marketing, and revenue generation
  • Evangelise Xyma's thermal intelligence platform and create demand across end-user plants
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to tailor solutions and integration narratives
  • Represent Xyma at global industry forums and conferences (ADIPEC, Gastech, IFA, etc.)
  • Maintain a structured pipeline, track KPIs, and provide market intelligence to leadership

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or technical sales
  • Background in industrial technology, process analytics, or engineering services
  • Experience in technical domains such as reliability, condition monitoring, IR guns, or pyrometers
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas, Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, or Refining ecosystems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts (Industrial IoT or sensing is a plus)
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Instrumentation preferred); MBA is a plus
