About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to work with Sona Signature at our factory. The role involves managing fabric and trims inventory, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with production and procurement teams to ensure smooth material flow within the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations for fabrics, trims, accessories and packing materials
- Maintain accurate inward and outward records of materials
- Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reporting of shortages or excess inventory
- Maintain proper labeling, storage and organization of materials
- Coordinate with procurement, production and quality teams for smooth material movement
- Update inventory data regularly using ERP software systems
- Prepare stock reports, GRNs, issue slips and reconciliation reports
- Ensure compliance with company processes and audit requirements
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Store Manager in an apparel factory
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims and garment accessories
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, basic documentation)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments efficiently
