Job Purpose
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall store operations, ensuring sales growth, maintaining profitability, delivering an exceptional customer experience, control bottom line of business and store look and feel with support of visual merchandising. The role involves managing inventory, optimizing store processes, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1)Sales & Business Management
Develop and execute store sales plans in alignment with business objectives.
Drive revenue growth through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.
Monitor and optimize key financial metrics, including Gross Margin, Inventory Turnover, Discount Management, and Profitability.
Analyse sales trends and competitor activities to refine strategies for sustained business growth.
2)Customer Experience & Engagement
Foster a customer-first culture by delivering high standards of service.
Address customer feedback and ensure swift resolution of escalations.
Implement visual merchandising and marketing strategies to enhance in-store experience.
3)Store Operations & Compliance
Maintain Store Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient store operations.
Manage inventory, stock availability, shrink control, and loss prevention measures.
Maintain store hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee cash handling, billing processes, and adherence to company financial guidelines.
4)Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to drive performance and engagement.
Build a high-performing team through regular coaching, feedback, and development programs.
Ensure manpower availability for planned training and operational efficiency.
Foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
