Spare Part and Inventory Management:
- Maintain inventory of engineering spares, machine components, utilities spares, electrical items, and consumables.
- Ensure availability of critical and fast-moving spare parts to avoid production downtime.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder levels for engineering items.
- Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
Store Operations:
- Supervise inward and outward movement of engineering materials and spare parts.
- Ensure proper storage, tagging, and identification of spares and equipment.
- Maintain bin locations, rack systems, and warehouse organization.
- Implement FIFO (First In First Out) method for consumables where applicable.
- Conduct monthly stock verification.
ERP & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records including GRN, material issue slips, stock registers, and returnable items.
- Ensure real-time inventory updates in ERP/SAP systems.
- Generate MIS reports on spare consumption, stock valuation, and variance.
Coordination with Engineering & Purchase:
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for spare planning and preventive maintenance requirements.
- Work with procurement team for timely ordering of spares.
- Support shutdown planning by ensuring availability of required spares.
