A leadership role in the consumer retail sector, operating within fast-paced brick-and-mortar stores across India. The role focuses on driving store profitability, operational excellence, and best-in-class customer experiences in a high-volume retail environment.
Position: Retail Store Manager (On-site) responsible for end-to-end store operations, team leadership, merchandising, and inventory control.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own daily store operations to meet sales targets and KPIs: plan daily priorities, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions to drive revenue growth.
- Lead, coach, and schedule store staffrecruit, onboard, develop talent, conduct performance reviews, and maintain high service standards.
- Manage merchandising and visual presentationexecute planograms, promotions, and seasonal resets to maximise conversion and average transaction value.
- Oversee inventory lifecycle: demand forecasting input, stock ordering, cycle counts, shrinkage control, and supplier coordination to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and POS transactionsreconcile tills, process deposits, and maintain audit-ready records.
- Maintain compliance with safety, loss-prevention, and operational SOPs; control store-level costs and contribute to P&L outcomes and reporting.
