Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in IBM Sterling OMS to lead end-to-end OMS implementations, enhancements, and support initiatives. The candidate will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with business stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of Order Management solutions across retail/eCommerce ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle IBM Sterling OMS implementations (design, build, test, deploy, support).
- Manage project scope, timelines, budget, and resource planning.
- Coordinate with business, architecture, and development teams for requirement gathering and solution design.
- Drive integrations between Sterling OMS and systems such as ERP, WMS, CRM, POS, and eCommerce platforms.
- Oversee configuration of core OMS modules: Order Capture, Sourcing, Inventory Visibility, Fulfillment, Returns.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, risk management, and quality standards.
- Conduct status meetings, stakeholder reviews, and executive reporting.
- Manage UAT, SIT, and production deployment activities.
- Handle client communication and vendor coordination.
- Lead post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10-15 years of IT experience with 5+ years in IBM Sterling OMS projects.
- Strong understanding of Distributed Order Management, Inventory, Fulfillment, and Returns.
- Experience managing Agile/Waterfall projects.
- Knowledge of Sterling OMS architecture, configuration, and customization.
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, message queues).
- Familiarity with retail/eCommerce business processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
