About the Role
The
State Head –BIL will be responsible for scaling the lending business across the state by developing and executing strategies to expand products, channels, customer segments, and the overall customer base. The role focuses on delivering banking solutions in a cost-efficient and technology-driven manner while building robust teams, systems, processes, and a culture that supports consistent and scalable delivery. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Sales, IT, Credit, and Business Intelligence Units (BIU) to ensure a seamless and fulfilling customer experience, positioning IDFC FIRST Bank as the primary banking partner.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Relationship Managers to drive assigned target(s).
- Maintain and empanel DSA's / Channel(s) for business delivery
- Visit Channels / DSA's along with team and drive performance
- Leverage the bank's Digital leading capabilities and drive performances both for Channels as well as Relationship Manager
- Achieve and overachieve designated target(s) on a consistently monthly basis.
- Take ownership of the customer and foster customer fist approach
- Guide the distribution of cross-sell products to achieve volume targets.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to enhance customer acquisition through digital channels.
- Monitor portfolio performance and quality, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Product and Sales teams.
- Support the Product team in the Business Loan category to develop differentiated offerings and accelerate business growth.
- Demonstrate ability to build, lead and motivate high-performing teams.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach senior team members to instill a culture of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.
- Foster an environment focused on automation and digital enablement to holistically meet customer needs.
- Attract and retain top-tier talent to support the bank's rapid growth objectives.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Postgraduate (Full-Time) – MBA in Finance preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking, lending, or related financial services.
