Our client is seeking a consultant with 3-6 years of experience to work as a risk projects junior business analyst. The role involves bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support business analysis, process optimization, and regulatory compliance initiatives within the bank
- Work closely with senior analysts and project managers to assess risks, improve processes, and contribute to system enhancements
- Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and ensuring alignment with banking regulations
- Documenting business requirements, assisting in data analysis, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory/banks policies
- Cross functional team collaboration with risk, finance, and technology teams to develop business solutions
- Experience in risk management in banking or financial services and in risk management frameworks (e. g. , Basel, CCAR, IFRS 9)
- Experience in derivatives - Fixed Income, Risk systems like Murex - preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential
- Data Analysis skills and MS Excel, SQL is required.
- Exceptionally effective communication skills, adaptive learner, and collaborator
- Cross functions experience in handling issues with Risk, IT and other business lines involved in the process.
- Undergraduate degree and Postgraduate in MBA or Finance, FRM preferred
